Very cool experience and very worth it.

Fun and historical. Was great to learn about the ships during ww2. Got to explore the ship on our own and be close up to the main guns.

For Fleet Week, we got our cruise tickets off Eventbrite $175. This was such a fun experience. The crew and volunteers were friendly and made the ride memorable. I loved... read more the live band and the announcer pointing out the details of the ride and where we were on the bay. There were about 900 people on the boat. It departed at 10am and returned back at 5pm. Upon boarding, there were coffee, donuts, hot chocolate and tea. The lunch service started at around 11am with hot dogs and tacos. The beer and wine ran out at around 2pm. The line for the tacos went almost the length of ship at one point. Good job everyone on SS Jeremiah O'Brien.

My wife and I visited the Jeremiah O'Brien in May and toured the vessel on a slow Thursday, which was more than enough to convince us to return this October... read more for the 2022 Fleet Week cruise. Unfortunately the weather was un-participative for the Air Show, but the privelage of being on a functioning 79 year old Liberty Ship sailing such a beautiful area was more than enough. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves naval history, or engineering, or the Bay Area.
