That being said there are many narrow steep ladders which adds to the authenticity but not for the faint hearted if you are expecting regular staircases. Suitable for anyone with an interest in history, WW2, engines, or anything nautical. Relatively kid friendly, but there are dirty and greasy things that may be encountered. The volunteers aboard are very helpful and friendly. Admission varies by age and category, but well worth it. Not at all crowded off season.

It's not everyday you get to actually aim a deck gun.
